Work out what is actually driving it. History, movement testing, and the specific tests the presentation calls for — before anything else happens.

How care works here
01
Work out what is actually driving it. History, movement testing, and the specific tests the presentation calls for — before anything else happens.
02
You should leave knowing what is going on and why. Findings explained in plain language, with the reasoning shown rather than asserted.
03
Hands-on care where it helps — adjustment, soft tissue work, dry needling. Chosen for what the assessment showed, not applied to everyone the same way.
04
Then load it properly. Progressive strength and movement work so the area handles what you ask of it — and you need us less, not more.

Your chiropractor
Dr Corey holds a double bachelor qualification in chiropractic from Murdoch University and has spent more than ten years in CrossFit, strength and conditioning — including time around AFL and elite sporting environments.
That background shapes how he works. Assessment comes before treatment, findings get explained rather than asserted, and most plans end up somewhere near a barbell, a band or a pair of running shoes. He is also advanced dry needling certified.
The people he sees are not all athletes. Parents, tradespeople, desk workers, golfers and active older adults make up most of the week — the common thread is wanting to get back to something.
How we can help
Most of the week is musculoskeletal — things that hurt, things that are stiff, and things that keep interrupting training or work.
Assessment and management of lower and mid back pain, from sudden onset to long-running niggles.
Assessment and management of neck pain, stiffness and the headaches that often come with them.
Assessment of tension-type and neck-related headaches, and honest guidance on when a headache needs a different pathway.
Assessment and loading-based management of rotator cuff irritation, overhead restriction and training-related shoulder pain.
Assessment and management of lateral hip pain, deep hip stiffness and glute-related complaints in runners, golfers and desk workers.
Assessment and management of nerve-related leg pain, including what recovery usually looks like and when to escalate.
Assessment, management and return-to-sport planning for training, running and club sport injuries.
Assessment and management of musculoskeletal pain driven by desk work, driving, repetitive tasks and manual trades.
Assessment and management of joint stiffness and lost range through the hips, shoulders, spine and ankles.
Not sure where yours fits? Get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right place.
Services
These are tools, not packages. Which ones get used depends entirely on what the assessment shows.
Assessment and hands-on care for spinal and joint pain, paired with the movement work that keeps it from coming back.
Fine needles into specific muscle tissue to settle tension and irritability, used as part of a plan rather than a standalone fix.
Hands-on work through muscle and fascia to reduce tension, restore glide and make movement feel less guarded.
Progressive loading that rebuilds capacity in the area that failed, so it handles what you ask of it again.
Injury assessment, hands-on care and return-to-sport loading for gym-goers, runners, golfers and club athletes.
Assessment of how you actually move, then targeted work to restore range you can control and use.
Train. Compete. Perform.
From everyday training to competitive sport, we understand what you are asking your body to do — and why getting back to it matters.
Built for real life
A performance background does not mean a performance-only clinic. It means care gets built around what you actually need to do.
Backs that went lifting a toddler or a pram.
Necks and shoulders that build up by Thursday.
Manual handling loads that outpace current capacity.
Shoulders, lower backs and hips under training load.
Rotation and load-sharing through the swing.
Calf, achilles, shin and hip complaints.
Return-to-sport progressions that hold up.
Keeping range, strength and independence.
Why Northern Beaches Chiropractic
Testing how you move, not just where it hurts. The painful spot and the cause are often different places.
Over ten years in CrossFit and S&C, including elite sporting environments. Rehab that is programmed, not photocopied.
Two or three things to do between visits, chosen to fit your week. Not a booklet you will never open.
You will be told what is likely going on, what usually happens with it, and when something is outside our scope.
What to expect
Pick a time that suits. No referral needed — chiropractors are primary contact practitioners in Australia.
A conversation about what is happening, then a physical assessment, then a plain-language explanation of what it showed.
Options discussed, a plan agreed, and a short list of things to do between visits. Reviewed as you go.
